COMMISSIONS

THE PROCESS

  1. Tap the “Let’s talk about it” button to fill out an interest form. Maybe you have a fully-formed vision of the artwork you’re looking for, or maybe you have the seed of an idea—all are welcome! Below, you can read more about the types of commissions I offer.

  2. Initial consult. I’ll ask a few questions about your idea, such as color palette, reference photos or live portrait availability, and timing. We’ll also discuss size, materials, and pricing. This can happen over email or in a free 15-30 minute phone call.

  3. Deposit. Once we’ve decided it’s a fit, you’ll send a 50% deposit to make it official. Then I’ll get to work on your art piece.

  4. Delivery. Once your artwork is finished, I’ll ship it to you. Live portraits or event paintings can go home with you same-day.

A few commission types I offer…

LIVE PORTRAITS

Portraiture is a subject I’ve returned to again and again over the years. I love sharing space with a sitter and creating a work of art invested with their physical presence. This works best if you or your loved one is based in NYC.

PORTRAITS, PETS, AND PLACES (PHOTO REFERENCE)

Let’s talk about creating a painting of your loved one or a favorite place based on a photograph. This works best for a surprise gift or those outside of NYC.

LIVE EVENT PAINTING

I will paint from life at your NYC-based wedding, concert or jam session, or other event, creating a painting infused with the energy of the moment. I also offer a package of individual portrait sketches of attendees.

Album Cover Artwork

I work closely with musicians to craft album cover artwork that evokes sound and feeling. Browse more samples here or reach out to discuss your project.
